The process
There is something special about photographs made right before your family changes. Whether this is your first baby or your older children are coming along to celebrate their newest sibling, maternity photography gives you a way to remember this part of your story.
We'll create beautiful portraits of you, photographs with your partner, your children interacting with you, and the smaller moments in between.
I want you to feel beautiful without feeling like you're trying to become somebody else for the camera. It doesn't have to be overly posted or formal.

We'll choose the session time around the evening light and pick a location that suits the look you want, your family, and how much walking you're comfortable doing. You don't need to figure any of this out on your own.

Just the two of them, at beach access 8, thirty minutes before sunset. Most people arrive at a maternity session with no idea what to do with their hands, so I give them something to do instead of something to hold. We walked, we talked, and the light came in low and warm with time to spare. Being local meant we could wait for the right evening instead of taking the only one on offer.

Extended families of 10 or more book the largest package, and each person beyond 10 is $25. There is a $75 travel fee for Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key. A $200 retainer reserves your date, and your gallery arrives within 2 to 3 weeks.

Tell me your due date when you inquire and I'll recommend a window.
When should we schedule a maternity session?
Both work beautifully. The beach gives you open light and water; the parks give you greenery and shade, with less walking.
Beach or greenery?
Something you feel like yourself in. I'll send guidance once we choose your location.
What should I wear?
As little as you want! Tell me what you're comfortable with and I'll pick the spot around it.
