The process
I don’t need twenty minutes of perfect behavior from your child. Sometimes I only need twenty seconds. I’ve spent years learning how to recognize those little windows and use them.
If your child doesn’t want to stand still, we move. If they don’t want to smile, we play. If they need a break, I photograph somebody else. You won’t hear me asking your children to say cheese for an hour.
Extended families are one of my specialties. Instead of spending forever arranging everyone, I come into your session with a plan: the whole family, each immediate family, grandparents with grandchildren, all the cousins, the adult siblings, and the combinations you didn’t realize you wanted.
YOUR KIDS DON’T HAVE TO PERFORM FOR ME
You’ll get the ones for the Christmas card and the ones you’ll remember. Your gallery arrives within 2 to 3 weeks, ready to download, print and send to the grandparents.

Nine people, four households, flown in from Ohio with one evening to get it right. We started forty five minutes before sunset with the whole group, while everyone still had the patience for it, then worked down to households, grandparents with grandkids, and the cousins.

Extended families of 10 or more book the largest package, and each person beyond 10 is $25. There is a $75 travel fee for Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key. A $200 retainer reserves your date, and your gallery arrives within 2 to 3 weeks.

before you book
As many as you can get in one place! Groups of 10 or more book the largest package, with $25 per additional person.
How many people can be in an extended family session?
They don't need to. I use movement, games, and redirection instead of asking them to stand still and smile on command.
What happens if my kids don't cooperate?
Siesta Key, Lido Beach, Longboat Key, Anna Maria Island, and Rothenbach Park, plus other spots around Sarasota.
Where will we photograph?
He's in very good company. We get the traditional photos quickly, then move into relaxed moments that make even the people who dislike pictures forget we're taking them.
My husband hates pictures. Is that a problem?
As soon as your travel dates are set. Spring break, summer, and Thanksgiving weeks fill up first.
